IWR's Water Resource Center is hiring for a Budget Analyst

USACE's Institute for Water Resources (IWR), Water Resources Center (WRC) is seeking a permanent Budget Analyst with the responsibility for budget formulation, monitoring, and execution for the organization. 

This position will be filled on a permanent basis.  PCS is authorized. 

This position is located in Alexandria, VA.

Duties•    Serves as budgetary and technical lead to develop cost estimates associated primarily with organizational operating expenses.•    Analyzes trends, developing workload projections, creating periodic cost and performance reports to compare actual with forecasts, and other management requirements.•    Administers all funds issued, in coordination with the Organization's RMO, to include annual funding programs, allotments, allowances, obligation authorities, reimbursable and other funding instruments.•    Resolves or recommends solutions to budgetary/accounting problems, in connection with the financial management of a complex program, involving a very large number of appropriations and funding mechanisms.
