ZAGREB - Yesterday, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm met with Polish Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa. The Deputy Secretary commended the Government of Poland for its role in assisting Ukraine over the past year. The three also discussed the United States’ commitment to Poland’s energy security and continued cooperation in combating climate change and advancing a secure, prosperous future in the region despite Russia’s aggression. The Deputy Secretary also expressed his interest and support for the United States and Poland’s continued close cooperation through the U.S.-Poland Economic and Commercial Dialogue and commended Poland for its recent selection of Westinghouse Electric Company to serve as technology supplier for its new national nuclear power program.
