Washington, D.C., Oct. 3, 2018 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), in accordance with legislation implementing the results of the Uruguay Round of negotiations under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, is informing the public of the international standard-setting activities of the World Organization for Animal Health, the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), and the North American Plant Protection Organization (NAPPO). APHIS is accepting comments on the activities related to the aforementioned standard-setting organizations. APHIS will respond to stakeholder comments as appropriate.
