NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY - Nevada: Wildlife Services (WS), a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, has issued a Decision and Finding of no Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Environmental Assessment (EA) entitled “Environmental Assessment for Predator Damage Management in Nevada." The EA analyzed the potential environmental impacts of alternatives for WS-Nevada’s involvement in predator damage management in Nevada. Based on the analyses contained in the final EA and the associated Decision/FONSI, WS-Nevada concluded that implementation of the proposed action alternative (Alternative 2) would not have a significant impact upon the quality of the human environment. The proposed action alternative evaluated an integrated methods approach to reduce damage when WS receives a request for assistance. WS signed the Decision and FONSI on July 20, 2020 selecting the proposed action alternative. Interested parties may view the Decision/FONSI at:https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=APHIS-2016-0077 If you would like a copy of the final EA and/or the Decision/FONSI sent to you by mail, WS-Nevada asks that you mail a written request to: Nevada Wildlife Services State Director
