The National Association of Realtors installs 2024 leadership at its annual conference

The National Association of Realtors® announced that it installed new national and regional leadership for 2024 at its annual conference and expo, held in Anaheim, Calif., Nov. 14-16. The new team is charged with steering the 1.5 million-member association’s strategic direction and policymaking in legislation, professional standards and business services. This change comes amidst a dynamic real estate market that demands adaptive leadership.

Starting with the top position, Tracy Kasper, a real estate veteran with more than 30 years of experience, was installed as NAR's 2024 president. From Nampa, Idaho, she is broker-owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Silverhawk Realty. Kasper has sat on NAR's board of directors since 2016, while she also served as president of the Idaho Association of Realtors®.

Moving to the subsequent office, According to the NAR press release, Kevin Sears is NAR's 2024 president-elect. From Springfield, Mass., Sears is broker/partner of Sears Real Estate, specializing in single-family brokerage and property management. In 2017, he served as NAR's vice president of government affairs.

In addition to President-elect, According to the NAR press release, the organization installed Kevin Brown as first vice president. From Oakland, Calif., he has about 45 years of experience in real estate, which includes being broker-owner of Better Homes Realty and Brown Commercial Investment Real Estate Services. He served as president of the California Association of Realtors® in 2014 and has sat on NAR's board of directors since 2011.

Lastly for treasury matters, According to the NAR press release, Gregory Hrabcak is NAR's 2024 treasurer, his second year in this role. From Westerville, Ohio, he has worked in the real estate industry for nearly 40 years. He currently heads Hanna Commercial Real Estate's commercial and property management divisions. In addition, he has served on NAR's Finance Committee since 2015.
