Arlington, Va. (April 9, 2024) – The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Professional Services Council (PSC), and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce today praised the first-ever industry-government forum between AUKUS countries – the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

"We welcome the trilateral conversations between the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia at Sea-Air-Space today, reaffirming industry and government’s shared commitment to AUKUS strategy and implementation," expressed Eric Fanning, President and CEO of AIA.

"Today’s meeting represents a step forward in cementing enduring industry-government collaboration – an essential partnership for AUKUS to succeed. Our organizations appreciate the opportunity to participate and look forward to continuing these conversations to strengthen industry and government coordination across the three nations," stated David Norquist, President and CEO of NDIA.

Today’s closed-door session was the first in a series of joint industry-government forums on AUKUS advanced capabilities, which the U.S., U.K., and Australian governments announced in December 2023.
