The National Retail Federation today revealed the promotion of Adam Lukoskie, the Executive Director of the NRF Foundation, to the role of senior vice president of NRF. In a statement, NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay praised Lukoskie, saying, "As executive director of the NRF Foundation, Adam has been a true champion for the retail industry and the millions of people it employs."
Shay highlighted Lukoskie's dedication to programs that assist individuals in securing employment in the retail sector, advancing their careers, and preparing the next generation of talent. He added, "Adam will now serve as a member of the NRF leadership team and will continue to play a role in identifying opportunities for NRF to better serve the retail industry."
Lukoskie, who joined the NRF Foundation in 2018, has overseen significant growth in various programs. According to Shay, "Under Lukoskie’s leadership, the NRF Foundation has tripled engagement in the RISE Up training and credentialing program with 3,500 organizations and 45,000 learners." Additionally, Lukoskie spearheaded the development of a Supply Chain credential to address the current needs of retailers, increased programming focused on upskilling current retail workers, and introduced initiatives like the Emerging Leaders Summit and the Bright Futures Scholarship.
As the newly appointed senior vice president of NRF, Lukoskie will continue to lead initiatives aimed at helping individuals enhance their lives and communities through the retail industry.
