Headline: EPA in New England to Host Virtual Environmental Justice Webinar for Communities

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) New England will host a virtual Environmental Justice resource fair on May 8, 2024, from 1 to 4 pm ET. The event aims to showcase funding opportunities for New England communities, including the Inflation Reduction Act Community Change Grants, Healthy Communities Grant Program, and the Southeast New England Program Opportunity to Advance Resilience.

Attendees will have the chance to learn about eligibility requirements, application processes, available technical assistance, and network with organizations in their states. The virtual fair will feature breakout rooms tailored for state-specific capacity building and networking, along with regional technical assistance for the Community Change Grants Program.

Community-based organizations from EPA Region 1, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, as well as Federally Recognized Tribal Nations and state-recognized Tribes, are encouraged to participate and register in advance.
