Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability, Mallory Stewart, is set to travel to Garmisch, Germany, and Brussels, Belgium from May 13-18.
During her visit to Garmisch, Assistant Secretary Stewart will deliver keynote remarks at the Senior Executive Seminar at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Her agenda also includes participation in roundtable discussions and sessions with fellows and faculty.
In Brussels, Assistant Secretary Stewart's itinerary involves meetings with NATO and EU officials. These meetings will cover a range of issues including arms control and outer space security. Furthermore, she will spearhead discussions on key arms control and emerging technology issues with the aim of advancing Allied security and deterrence.
