Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for "LALIGA: All Access," its first sports docuseries in Spain, set to premiere on July 19th. The series aims to provide an in-depth look at Spanish football, capturing both on-field and off-field moments.

The docuseries will highlight the journey of Girona, a standout team this season, along with other clubs and stories, including those of Rakitic and Muniaín who have retired from Sevilla and Athletic Club respectively. It will also feature major derbies and the iconic Clásico match.

Álvaro Díaz, director of non-fiction at Netflix Spain, commented, "Netflix is excited to show the world the stories of the sport and its protagonists as they have never been seen before. Spanish football is a world reference and thanks to the unprecedented and exclusive access to LALIGA we have an incredible opportunity to entertain long-time fans and reach new viewers."

Alex Martínez Roig, executive producer alongside Juan Gordon at Morena Films, expressed satisfaction with the project. He stated, "It is the first time that one of the major world football leagues has dared to tackle a series like this. And Netflix is going to be the best showcase to enjoy this journey behind the scenes of Spanish football." Roig emphasized that the series aims to humanize athletes by addressing issues such as mental health, ageism, resilience after failure, and commitment.

Jorge de la Vega, Executive General Manager of LALIGA, added: "LALIGA is entertainment, drama, competitiveness... and all these feelings will be shown in this docuseries that we are so proud of." He noted that it would serve as a showcase for Spain's culture and diversity while promoting international interest in Spanish football.

The documentary series will focus on the 2023-2024 LALIGA competition. Similar to Netflix’s other sports programming like "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" and "Break Point," it promises unprecedented access behind the scenes of one of the world's most followed leagues.

Morena Films was founded in 1999 with a mission to create innovative quality content aimed at international markets. With over 100 productions spanning feature films and series over 25 years, Morena Films continues to develop significant sports projects.

LALIGA is recognized as one of the largest football ecosystems globally. It organizes professional national competitions involving 42 clubs/SADs from LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION.
