Key European and North American aviation industry associations have welcomed the renewed commitment for greater coordination between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The announcement was made during the 2024 FAA-EASA International Aviation Safety Conference.
In a joint statement issued by Airlines for Europe (A4E), Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), Aerospace Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the four associations highlighted priority areas where collaborative global leadership could further advance aviation safety, industry efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and workforce preparedness.
