Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Republic of Cyprus Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos. The Secretary and Foreign Minister reaffirmed the importance of the strong U.S.-Republic of Cyprus bilateral relationship and announced an upcoming bilateral Strategic Dialogue.
The Secretary thanked the Foreign Minister for the Republic of Cyprus’ leadership for the maritime humanitarian corridor for Gaza. The Secretary reiterated U.S. support for the UN Security Council framework for Cyprus.
