National Park Service seeks comments on historic places nominations

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The National Park Service (NPS) has announced that it is seeking electronic comments on the significance of properties nominated before May 18, 2024, for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Comments should be submitted electronically by June 20, 2024.

Comments can be sent to National_Register_Submissions@nps.gov with the subject line “Public Comment on .” For those without email access, comments may be mailed to the National Register of Historic Places at the NPS office in Washington, DC.

The properties listed are being considered for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. The nominations were received by NPS before May 18, 2024. Comments are being accepted concerning the significance of these properties under the National Register criteria for evaluation.

Individuals submitting comments should note that their entire comment—including personal identifying information—may be made publicly available. While requests can be made to withhold personal information from public review, there is no guarantee this will be possible.
