National Park Service seeks comments on historic places nominations

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The National Park Service has announced it is seeking electronic comments on the significance of properties nominated before March 9, 2024, for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Comments should be submitted electronically by April 1, 2024.

Comments are encouraged to be sent via email to National_Register_Submissions@nps.gov with the subject line "Public Comment on ." For those without email access, comments can be mailed to the National Register of Historic Places at the National Park Service, 1849 C Street NW, MS 7228, Washington, DC 20240.

The notice lists properties being considered for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Nominations were received by the National Park Service before March 9, 2024. Comments are being accepted regarding the significance of these properties under the criteria for evaluation outlined in section 60.13 of 36 CFR part 60.

Commenters should note that their entire comment—including personal identifying information—may be made publicly available. While requests can be made to withhold such information from public review, there is no guarantee this will be possible.
