Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant about the recent attack that occurred in Tel Aviv on a residential building one block away from the U.S. Embassy Branch Office. The Secretary expressed his condolences for the Israeli citizen killed and others wounded in the attack and reaffirmed the United States' ironclad commitment to Israel's security and Israel's right to self-defense.
