The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has received a Power of Associations Silver Award for its Social Media Ambassador Program. This initiative involves Collegiate Farm Bureau members who are selected as social media ambassadors to creatively highlight events at the annual Farm Bureau leadership conference and encourage broader involvement.

“We’re proud of our collegiate members selected as social media ambassadors who successfully elevate and celebrate the amazing work, learning, and community service that takes place at our annual leadership conference,” stated AFBF President Zippy Duvall.

The program offers college students an opportunity and financial support to attend the leadership conference. It also benefits the Farm Bureau by utilizing the students’ social media presence to promote leadership development opportunities within the organization.

The Power of Associations award program is managed by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), which supports associations across various business sectors and industries.

“Congratulations to Farm Bureau for exemplifying the impact associations have on the industries and professions they represent, and on society at large,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “It’s always so incredibly satisfying to see associations going above and beyond their everyday mission to change the world. We’re very proud to spotlight this award-winning initiative.”

The American Farm Bureau Federation describes itself as "the Voice of Agriculture," representing farm and ranch families working towards a sustainable future with safe and abundant food, fiber, and renewable fuel. More information can be found on their Facebook page or by following @FarmBureau on X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram.

ASAE’s Power of Associations Awards recognize associations' economic and societal contributions locally, nationally, and globally. The winners will be celebrated during ASAE's annual Summit Awards Dinner on September 24 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
