Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will engage in a conversation with Singapore Ambassador-at-Large Chan Heng Chee, organized in partnership with the National University of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. The event is scheduled for 4:30 a.m. ET/4:30 p.m. SGT on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
During his 18th trip to the Indo-Pacific region as Secretary of State, Blinken will discuss progress made with allies and partners to enhance security and prosperity, aiming for a shared vision of a free and open region. Additionally, he will address the United States’ bilateral cooperation with Singapore on security, economic, climate, and technology objectives.
The event in Singapore will be open to pre-credentialed press and streamed live on the Department homepage and YouTube channel.
