The U.S. Department of State has announced the selection of USA Expo Partners to engage corporate America and recruit sponsors for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. International expos, also known as World’s Fairs, provide an opportunity to showcase American values, enterprise, innovation, culture, and global leadership while promoting collaboration with international partners to address shared global challenges.

USA Expo Partners is a collaboration between Heart & Soul Marketing of Phoenix, Arizona; Ted Johnson of Norden Strategies; Justin Buoen of KBO Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Megan Nashban Kenney of Orlattle in Washington D.C.; and Takayuki Hioki of Sport Marketing Group (SMG) in Tokyo, Japan. Heart & Soul is an agency with extensive domestic and international experience. Johnson, Buoen, and Nashban Kenney recently served as Senior Advisors to the USA EXPO 2027 campaign. Hioki has represented many leading American sports brands at major events in Japan.

The theme for the USA Pavilion is “Imagine What We Can Create Together,” encouraging visitors to visualize themselves in the United States supporting advances in sustainability, space exploration, education, and entrepreneurship. The theme aims to inspire visitors to study in the U.S., tour its diverse landscapes, appreciate its natural beauty, learn about sustainability efforts, and join the journey back to the moon and beyond. Expo 2025 Osaka will open on April 13, 2025, and is expected to attract over 28 million visits during its six-month duration.

The Department of State expressed enthusiasm about working with USA Expo Partners to identify and recruit sponsors for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. "Their team brings Japan-specific experience to sponsor engagement both in the U.S. and in Japan that will help make the USA Pavilion a resounding success."
