An America First Policy Institute (AFPI) fact sheet, titled "Evaluating the Biden-Harris Policies: Border Security," outlines the border policies of the Biden-Harris administration, highlighting the "99 known or suspected terrorists" who have entered the country with the influx of illegal migration at the southwest border. The fact sheet was released on August 13.
According to the AFPI fact sheet, 12 million illegal migrants have entered the United States during the Biden-Harris administration. By comparison, approximately the same number of illegal migrants have entered the U.S. in Fiscal Year 2024 to date as in the entirety of the Trump administration—about 2.4 million.
According to the House Judiciary Committee, 99 individuals on the terror watchlist have entered the United States during the Biden-Harris administration. These individuals have entered illegally at the Southwest border from 36 countries, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and Tajikistan. In total, 375 known or suspected terrorists were encountered by Border Patrol, 99 of whom were released into the interior.
In June, eight Tajikistani nationals with ties to ISIS were arrested for a terror plot in New York City, according to the House Homeland Security Committee. All of them entered at the Southwest border and had appeared on some form of terror watchlist.
