National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial announces temporary closure for observance ceremony

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial will be temporarily closed to the public from Tuesday, September 10, 5 a.m. EDT through Wednesday, September 11, 6 p.m. EDT. This closure is due to set-up and break-down activities in support of the annual September 11 Observance Ceremony.

Surviving family members of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks at the Pentagon who wish to visit the memorial during this period are encouraged to contact the Pentagon Special Events Office.
