Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken engaged in a conversation with Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu today, discussing Romania's recent donation of a PATRIOT strategic air defense system to Ukraine.
Spokesperson Matthew Miller stated, "Secretary Blinken thanked Minister Odobescu for fulfilling Romania’s commitment and for its continued leadership in the defense of regional security." Secretary Blinken also emphasized the United States' ongoing support for Ukraine and its sovereignty against Russian aggression.
