The global tech trade association ITI has released a statement from its President and CEO Jason Oxman following the U.S. House of Representatives' approval of the Building Chips in America Act.

"Today the U.S. Congress took a bipartisan step forward to support American leadership in semiconductor manufacturing," Oxman stated. "The Building Chips in America Act helps clear the way for CHIPS Act semiconductor projects that are critical to economic and national security."

Oxman emphasized the importance of bipartisan support, saying, "Passage of this bill on a bipartisan basis, in both chambers, is important recognition that the U.S. Congress can come together to remove legal and regulatory barriers to American innovation."
