The United States has extended its congratulations to the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of their 33rd Independence Day, which will be celebrated on September 27.
In a statement, the U.S. government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Turkmenistan’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The collaboration between the two nations spans various areas including methane emission reduction, sustainable labor and agricultural practices, regional security enhancement, human rights promotion, and educational and cultural exchanges.
"We are proud of our collaboration in reducing methane emissions, advancing sustainable labor and agricultural practices, strengthening security across the region, promoting human rights, and supporting educational and cultural exchanges," read the statement.
The U.S. government expressed optimism about the future relationship between the two countries. "We look forward to the people of our countries deepening their friendship in years to come."
"My sincere congratulations as you celebrate your Independence Day," concluded the message.
