Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar today in Washington, D.C. The meeting underscored the United States and India’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties and coordinating on regional and global challenges.

During the discussion, Secretary Blinken referred to Prime Minister Modi’s August visit to Kyiv. He reiterated the importance of achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. The conversation also covered plans to expand collaboration on clean energy initiatives aimed at addressing the global climate crisis.
