SELMA, Ala. – On October 17, 2024, Jeaneanne Gettle, the Acting Region 4 Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will be in Selma, Alabama. She will join Congresswoman Terri Sewell and local officials for two press events.
The first event is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Selma High School, located at 2180 Broad St. This event will focus on the Clean School Bus Rebate Announcement.
Following this, at 12:30 p.m., another event will take place at Selma City Hall, situated at 222 Broad St. This gathering will highlight the Selma Lead Service Line Project and improvements to the Lead and Copper Rule.
Jeaneanne Gettle serves as the EPA Region 4 Administrator and will be accompanied by Congresswoman Terri Sewell of Alabama’s 7th District and Mayor James Perkins Jr.
