New voices have been announced for the anime adaptation of "SAKAMOTO DAYS," set to premiere on Netflix in January 2025. The popular manga series, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2020, will introduce new cast members for characters Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi of "The Order."
Natsuki Hanae will voice Nagumo, a character described as Sakamoto's good friend and former associate from his assassin days. Taku Yashiro joins as Shishiba, known for being a cool and sensible member of The Order. Saori Hayami will portray Osaragi, a spontaneous addition to the group.
"The Order" is a special force within the Japan Association of Assassins tasked with eliminating dangerous targets that threaten the assassin world. A newly released special art showcases these characters' mysterious charm.
The story follows ex-hitman Taro Sakamoto as he strives to maintain a peaceful life with his family amidst threats from assassins. The anime promises action-packed sequences featuring Sakamoto and his allies.
"SAKAMOTO DAYS," written by Yuto Suzuki, has captivated audiences with its over-the-top battles and engaging storyline. Directed by Masaki Watanabe and produced by TMS Entertainment, the series will bring this beloved manga to life on screen.
The cast includes Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura, Ayane Sakura as Lu Shaotang, Nao Toyama as Aoi Sakamoto, Hina Kino as Hana Sakamoto, Ryota Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo alongside the newly announced voices.
The anime adaptation aims to capture the essence of the manga's thrilling narrative and dynamic characters when it debuts early next year.
