On November 22, Netflix will release the documentary series "900 Days Without Anabel," which explores the longest kidnapping case in Spain's history: the abduction of Anabel Segura. This series provides a detailed account of the events that transpired during her 900-day captivity.

The public was deeply affected by Anabel's kidnapping, leading to widespread demonstrations demanding her release. Between 1993 and 1995, there were fourteen phone calls between the kidnappers and a negotiator for the Segura family. These conversations are now being revealed in full for the first time, three decades after the case was resolved.

The series comprises three episodes that include recordings of these calls and testimonies from police officers involved in the investigation. These officers helped establish protocols for addressing "express kidnappings." Mónica Palomero, an investigative journalist known for her work on programs like "Fuera de Cobertura" and "Malaya. Secret Operation," directed and co-wrote this docuseries. She stated, "Listening to the tapes and obtaining the statements of key sources in the investigation have allowed us not only to dispel hoaxes that existed around this case but to tell about it from within. '900 Days Without Anabel' is the journalistic narration of a story that shocked Spain."

The series was created by Señor Mono (known for "En El Nombre De Ellas") and produced by Iñigo Pérez-Tabernero and Toño Sanchís from Loveo Audiovisual.
