AI for America has released its second campaign video focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in education. The initiative, funded by TechNet, aims to educate the public about AI's potential to improve lives and enhance economic growth.
The newly launched video features Dr. Nina Huntemann, Chief Academic Officer at Chegg, discussing how AI tools can support students by enhancing learning experiences and expanding access to educational resources. "The need for innovative solutions in education has never been greater," said Linda Moore, President and CEO of TechNet. She emphasized that AI could help students meet modern challenges and reduce administrative burdens on teachers.
Dr. Huntemann highlighted the importance of designing educational tools intentionally to make learning more inclusive and accessible. "Education continues to be the number one factor towards someone’s future success," she stated.
This release is part of a series by AI for America showcasing how AI transforms various sectors. The first video focused on small business owners using AI to level the playing field and accelerate growth.
AI for America was launched in 2023 with campaigns aimed at highlighting AI's benefits while advocating responsible technology development. Earlier this year, it expanded its outreach with ads showcasing AI's impact on work efficiency and longevity across several U.S. markets.
In addition to video releases, TechNet and AI for America have hosted discussions on advancing America's leadership in AI, featuring industry leaders like Kent Walker from Google and Kerry McLean from Intuit.
AI for America's website provides examples of how AI is addressing societal challenges across different sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, transportation, energy, and national security.
