The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced the honorees for the CES Innovation Awards 2025. This year's program received over 3,400 submissions, marking a 13% increase from last year. The awards recognize outstanding designs and engineering in technology aimed at addressing global challenges.

This year, Artificial Intelligence emerged as the fastest-growing category with a 49.5% rise in submissions compared to the previous year. AI is set to be a major focus at CES 2025, featuring prominently on the show floor and throughout conference sessions.

Gary Shapiro, CEO of CTA, commented on this year's selections: "The honorees selected this year represent the range of innovation we will see at CES 2025, with products touching all areas of technology including the entire AI ecosystem." He further emphasized that "the record-breaking number of CES Innovation Awards submissions for CES 2025 shows how tech innovation continues to solve the world’s biggest challenges that change people's lives."

For 2025, four new categories have been introduced: Beauty & Personal Care, Fashion Tech, Industrial Equipment & Machinery, and Pet Tech & Animal Welfare. Kinsey Fabrizio, President of CTA, noted: “Technology is reshaping industries, enhancing products and creating experiences that improve lives in ways we never thought possible.”

An independent panel evaluates entries based on criteria such as innovation and design. The top-rated products receive the "Best of Innovation" title across various categories.

Among those honored with this designation are:

- Accessibility & AgeTech: Bio Leg by BionicM Inc.

- Artificial Intelligence: booxtory by Woongjin Thinkbig

- Audio/Video Components & Accessories: Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad Wireless Speaker System by Sony Electronics Inc.

- Cybersecurity: ScamVanguard by SK Telecom

Additional recipients will be revealed during CES 2025 on January 5th. Attendees can explore winning products at the Venetian Expo's Innovation Awards Showcase.
