The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has recognized Kathy Warden, Chair, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Northrop Grumman Corporation, with the Voice of Industry Award. The award was presented during the AIA's fall 2024 Board of Governors meeting in Washington, DC.

The Voice of Industry Award acknowledges individuals who use their platforms to advocate for the industrial base, workforce, and aerospace and defense supply chain. AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning praised Warden's impact on the sector and her dedication to national security. "Kathy’s influence on the aerospace and defense sector and her commitment to America’s national security cannot be overstated," Fanning stated. He highlighted her role as Nominating Committee Chair and noted that "AIA continues to be the top trade association representing American aerospace and defense companies."

Fanning further emphasized Warden's leadership within AIA: "Kathy’s steadfast voice at AIA is an essential one – and makes her one of the best leaders in our industry. I look forward to continuing to work with Kathy on the AIA board as we maintain advocacy for the issues that matter the most to aerospace and defense."
