TechNet honors champions of innovation at Los Angeles policy conference

TechNet recently recognized several state policymakers with its 2024 Champion of Innovation awards at the annual State Policy Conference held in Los Angeles, California. The event is organized by TechNet, a national network of CEOs and senior executives from the innovation economy.

The awards are presented to those who support policies that promote innovation, job creation, and economic growth. This year's recipients include Senator Sharon Carson (R-NH), Senator Jennifer Bradley (R-FL), Representative Steve Elkins (D-MN), Senator Matt Boehnke (R-WA), Dee Dee Myers from the California Governor’s Office of Business & Economic Development, Representative Ed Neilson (D-PA), and Senator Eliot Bostar (I-NE).

David Edmonson, TechNet’s Senior Vice President of State Policy and Government Relations, stated: “Congratulations to each of our Champion of Innovation award recipients. The conference serves as a platform for discussions between state policymakers and TechNet members on issues affecting states across the nation. This year marked the most-attended State Policy Congress in TechNet's history, featuring participation from 49 member companies and lawmakers representing 16 states.
