Under Secretary Bass will emphasize this relationship while discussing a recent $845.1 million cash transfer from the United States intended to support the people of Jordan. He will also acknowledge Jordan's significant role in providing aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza through the Jordan Corridor.
Key topics on the agenda include ensuring stability in the West Bank and exploring pathways toward establishing a Palestinian state that includes security assurances for Israel. Regarding Syria, discussions will center on protecting civilians and minority groups and advocating for a Syrian-led political resolution as outlined by UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
