A Jackson man has entered a guilty plea in a federal court to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Marcus Davis, aged 44, admitted his involvement after an eight-day trial that concluded on December 11, 2024.

Prosecutors provided evidence showing that Davis conspired with another individual to distribute two-and-one-half pounds of methamphetamine over nine days in December 2019. The final sentence will be determined by a federal district court judge, who will consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Todd W. Gee of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Robert Eikhoff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI conducted the investigation into this case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Shundral Cole and Samuel Goff are leading the prosecution efforts.
