The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced that Tekedra N. Mawakana, co-CEO of Waymo, will deliver the keynote speech at the CES 2025 Leaders in Technology Dinner. This exclusive event is set to take place on January 8 and will gather notable figures from the technology industry, including policymakers, technologists, media, and entrepreneurs.

Mawakana, who oversees Waymo's strategic vision focusing on autonomous driving technology commercialization, expressed her enthusiasm for participating in CES. "Our mission at Waymo is to be the world's most trusted driver and I'm excited to share with those at CES how we're transforming mobility to be safer, more sustainable, and more accessible," she stated. She also highlighted Waymo's autonomous ride-hail service operations in cities like San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Austin.

Ed Ludlow of Bloomberg Technology will conduct an interview with Mawakana during the event. Their discussion will center on Waymo's contributions to sustainable transportation and roadway safety.
