Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins, is set to visit Newport, Rhode Island on December 16-17, 2024. Her visit will be to participate in the 11th Annual Women, Peace, and Security Symposium at the U.S. Naval War College.
During her time at the college, Under Secretary Jenkins will engage in discussions focusing on the significant role women play in advancing U.S. security interests. She will also take part in a panel discussion that examines "Women, Peace, and Security in an Era of Strategic Competition."
