Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken is scheduled to visit New York City from December 18 to 19. During his visit, he will chair two meetings of the United Nations Security Council, where the United States holds the rotating presidency for December.
The first meeting will address the implications of artificial intelligence on maintaining international peace and security. The second session will concentrate on Sudan and its ongoing humanitarian crisis.
In addition to these meetings, Secretary Blinken will engage in a fireside chat at the Council on Foreign Relations while in New York City.
