William Durnal, a 60-year-old resident of Elkins, West Virginia, has admitted to charges related to the possession and distribution of methamphetamine. This admission was made in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Court documents reveal that Durnal was involved with a drug trafficking organization responsible for distributing significant quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in Morgantown, West Virginia. In a separate incident, law enforcement officers discovered hundreds of grams of methamphetamine during a search of Durnal's residence.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Zelda Wesley and Stephen Warner. The investigation involves the Mon Metro Drug Task Force and the Mountain Region Task Force, both funded by HIDTA initiatives.

This prosecution is part of an operation by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), which aims to identify and dismantle high-level criminal organizations posing threats to the United States through a collaborative approach involving multiple agencies.
