A Knox County man, Lee Allen Goudy, was sentenced to 250 months in prison by a U.S. District Court for distributing and possessing child pornography. This follows his previous conviction related to the sexual abuse of a minor.
Goudy, aged 30 from Howard, Ohio, was identified as a Tier II registered sex offender after the FBI received a tip in August 2023. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) generated at least four cyber tipline reports linked to him.
Investigations revealed that Goudy used platforms like Reddit, Kik messenger, and Twitter to distribute child pornography. Authorities recovered approximately 650 videos and 100 images of child sexual abuse material from his iPhone. The collection included severe cases involving infants and toddlers.
Goudy's search history showed queries such as “supervised release monitoring iPhone” and “does federal monitoring work on iPhone.” A second phone also contained searches for violent content against infants and had 150 images traded on Discord.
He was arrested in September 2023 for violating his federal supervised release warrant and pleaded guilty to new child pornography charges in April 2024. Previously, he was sentenced to 78 months in prison in April 2018.
The sentencing announcement was made by Kenneth L. Parker, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, along with Elena Iatarola, Special Agent in Charge at the FBI's Cincinnati Division. Assistant United States Attorney Emily Czerniejewski is representing the case.
