For four consecutive months, inflation has remained near pre-pandemic levels, according to a statement from National Economic Advisor Lael Brainard. The advisor acknowledged the challenges that price increases have posed for working families but highlighted that household incomes have risen by nearly $4,000 more than prices during the current administration.
"We will continue to fight to lower costs for American families," Brainard stated.
