United States Attorney Susan Lehr has confirmed that Daniella M. Fedail, a 30-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced in federal court for distributing methamphetamine. The sentencing took place on December 19, 2024, with United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher presiding over the case. Fedail received a sentence of 120 months in prison and will be subjected to a five-year term of supervised release following her incarceration. It is important to note that there is no parole available in the federal system.

The case against Fedail began on November 15, 2023, when a confidential source from the DEA conducted a controlled purchase involving one pound of methamphetamine. The transaction occurred at a predetermined location in mid-town Omaha, where the source initially met with Hanna Faust, also known as "Williams." Faust contacted her supplier during this meeting and informed them that a silver Impala would deliver the drugs. Subsequently, Fedail arrived at the location in the specified vehicle and exchanged the drug package containing 464 grams of methamphetamine for money.

Following these events, on December 21, 2023, the DEA executed a federal search warrant at Fedail's residence in Omaha. She was arrested during this operation and informed of her Miranda rights. During questioning, she admitted to participating in narcotics trafficking activities.

The Drug Enforcement Administration led the investigation into this case.
