Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning has extended a welcome to the 119th Congress. Fanning emphasized the long-standing collaboration between Congress and the aerospace and defense sector, highlighting their joint efforts in national security, technological advancements, and exploration.

"The aerospace and defense sector is one of Congress’ most enduring partners – working together to secure our nation, introduce cutting-edge technology, and pioneer the next frontier," stated Fanning. He also noted the sector's significant workforce, comprising over 2.2 million individuals.

Fanning expressed readiness to collaborate with the new leadership of the 119th Congress on several key initiatives. These include securing year-long government funding, engaging in initiatives by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) aimed at streamlining programs, and reinforcing American leadership in aerospace and defense.
