Rock Hill woman sentenced for embezzling $3.3 million from employer

Christina Stevens Gregory, a 71-year-old resident of Rock Hill, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for wire fraud. Gregory admitted to defrauding her employer, Industrial Test Systems, Inc., out of approximately $3.3 million over nearly two decades.

The court heard evidence that Gregory exploited her role as an accountant at the company to deposit checks meant for Industrial Test Systems into her personal bank account from 2004 to 2023.

United States District Judge Mary Geiger Lewis handed down the sentence of 24 months imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release. The federal system does not offer parole. Additionally, Gregory must pay $2,256,900.44 in restitution to Industrial Test Systems.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI Columbia Field Office and the Rock Hill Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Matthews is leading the prosecution.
