CCIA Europe expands Brussels office with new hire and key promotions

The Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) Europe has announced the expansion of its Brussels office. This development includes the appointment of Leonardo Veneziani as Sustainability Manager and two key promotions within the team.

Leonardo Veneziani will lead CCIA Europe's advocacy on sustainability issues and their connection with digital technology. Before joining CCIA Europe in December 2024, he gained experience working on sustainability and tech topics at various consulting firms. He holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and EU Institutions from the University of Turin.

In addition to this new appointment, CCIA Europe has promoted Mathilde Adjutor to European Parliament and Consumer Lead, while Claudia Canelles Quaroni now serves as Privacy and Safety Lead.

Mathilde Adjutor joined the team in 2021 and has been instrumental in shaping EU policy on online intermediaries and consumer protection, including platform regulation, audiovisual media, intellectual property, product safety, and liability. Claudia Canelles Quaroni, who joined in 2023, oversees privacy and safety issues for the Brussels office. She is responsible for content moderation, data protection, advertising, and online protection of minors.

Daniel Friedlaender, Senior Vice President and Head of CCIA Europe stated: “We are thrilled to welcome Leonardo to the CCIA Europe team. His expertise will be crucial in advocating for EU policies that combine sustainability with digital innovation. We are equally proud to recognise the achievements of Mathilde and Claudia through their well-deserved promotions, further strengthening our advocacy capabilities in Brussels.”
