Acting Secretary of Labor Vince Micone has issued a directive to all employees of the U.S. Department of Labor, instructing them to halt all investigative and enforcement activities related to Executive Order 11246. This decision follows the rescission of the order.
The directive, known as Secretary’s Order 03-2025, impacts various offices within the department, including the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, the Office of Administrative Law Judges, and the Administrative Review Board.
According to Micone's order, "The department no longer has any authority under the rescinded Executive Order 11246 or its regulations."
This development marks a significant change in how the department will handle matters previously governed by this executive order.
