A man from Las Vegas has been sentenced to over 21 years in federal prison for soliciting sexually explicit photos from an eight-year-old girl. Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Chad Meacham, announced the sentencing.

Geovanny Davila Cisneros, aged 24, was indicted in January 2024 and later pleaded guilty in April 2024 to enticement of a child. U.S. District Judge Reed C. O’Connor handed down a sentence of 262 months in federal prison, followed by 25 years of supervised release. Cisneros is also required to register as a sex offender.

According to court documents, Cisneros admitted to using text messaging and social media platforms to communicate with the young girl. He reportedly complimented her on her body and requested sexually explicit images.

The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Secret Service’s Dallas Field Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Special Investigations Unit, with support from the Secret Service’s Las Vegas Field Office and the Las Vegas Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Aisha Saleem prosecuted the case.
