Today, Secretary Kristi Noem participated in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in New York City. The focus of this operation was on apprehending violent criminals, including a leader of the Tren De Aragua group, who are present in the United States.

Secretary Noem joined Department of Homeland Security (DHS) law enforcement officers as they conducted arrests of criminal aliens in New York City. The operation involved multiple agencies including ICE, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Secret Service, the New York Police Department (NYPD), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New York division, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
