Saratoga man indicted for drug distribution and firearm offenses

Jason Brundige, a 49-year-old resident of Ballston Spa, New York, has been indicted on charges related to drug distribution and firearm possession. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman, Bryan Miller from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and Saratoga County Sheriff Michael H. Zurlo.

The indictment claims that Brundige distributed cocaine on June 28 and July 2, 2024, from his home in Saratoga County. During one of these transactions, he allegedly possessed a firearm. Additionally, on July 3, 2024, he is accused of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute it while also having a loaded firearm.

These charges are currently accusations; Brundige remains presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If convicted on all counts, he faces a minimum sentence of ten years in prison and could receive up to life imprisonment. He would also be subject to supervised release for five years to life following any prison term.

The case is under investigation by the ATF and the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), with Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashlyn Miranda leading the prosecution.
