Apple Fitness+ is set to expand its offerings in 2025 with a variety of new programs aimed at promoting fitness and mindfulness. The service will introduce a progressive strength training program, a conditioning program for pickleball enthusiasts, a yoga workshop, and a breath meditation series. The Artist Spotlight series will also return with music from artists such as Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, new episodes of Time to Walk will feature personalities like Adam Scott and Rita Ora.
Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, commented on the updates: “Fitness+ is designed to support everyone’s unique fitness and wellness journey, providing welcoming and motivating workouts, meditations, and programs that make it easy to stay active and mindful.”
The new content will be available from January 6 on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Users can enhance their experience using Apple Watch for real-time metrics. A collaboration with Strava introduces integration into the Strava app experience along with a special trial offer for subscribers.
The progressive strength program offers guided routines over three weeks targeting major muscle groups. Pickleball enthusiasts can benefit from a program led by professional champion Catherine Parenteau. Yoga Peak Poses provides focused sessions on specific poses like Dancer and Crow.
A breath meditation program introduces techniques such as belly breathing to help manage stress. Fitness+ now includes 12 meditation themes tailored to different user needs.
The Artist Spotlight series dedicates playlists to individual artists across various workout types starting January 13 with Janet Jackson. Time to Walk returns with episodes featuring figures like Adam Scott starting January 13.
Choreographer Alex Wong leads an exclusive dance workout takeover within Fitness+. Integration with Strava allows users to share detailed workout data within the app community.
Fitness+ is available as a subscription service priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 annually in multiple countries including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia among others. New device purchases may include up to three months free access depending on the model.
