The Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) has announced the appointment of new staff members as part of its efforts to bolster its advocacy for competitive spectrum and satellite policies. The organization has also launched a new Space & Spectrum Policy Center aimed at promoting satellite-delivered broadband internet access.
Karina Perez has been appointed as the Director of the new Space & Spectrum Policy Center. Perez previously held the position of Director for Unmanned and Emerging Aviation Technologies at the Aerospace Industries Association, where she worked on issues related to Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Advanced Air Mobility, and U.S. Spectrum policy.
Megan Stokes joins CCIA as the new State Director. Stokes brings 16 years of experience in advocating on state legislative issues for public unions, trade associations, and government-consulting organizations.
Aneysha Bhat is now serving as CCIA's Senior Manager for Federal Affairs. Bhat's prior role was Deputy Associate Administrator in the Small Business Administration’s Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs.
Since its inception in 1972, CCIA has been a proponent of innovation and policies that foster competition and growth within the tech sector.
