Today, the U.S. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, announced several appointments to the Department's senior leadership team. These appointments are aimed at advancing President Trump's energy agenda.

The key senior staff appointments include:
In the Office of the Secretary: Alexander Fitzsimmons as Chief of Staff; Audrey Barrios as Advisor to the Secretary; Dana Kopp as Senior Advisor to the Secretary; Conner Prochaska as Senior Advisor; Theodore Garrish as Senior Advisor; John LaValle as White House Liaison; and Samuel Fodale as Deputy White House Liaison.
In the Office of the Under Secretary for Infrastructure: Steven Winberg will serve as Acting Secretary.
In the Office of Public Affairs: Andrea Woods has been appointed Deputy Director, while Ben Dietderich takes on the role of Press Secretary and Chief Spokesperson.
For the Office of Management: Ashley Hebert is named Director of Scheduling and Advance, with Isabelle Lamanna serving as Director of Scheduling.
In the Office of the Chief Financial Officer: Joshua Jones becomes Senior Advisor.
The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations sees Curt Coccodrilli appointed as Senior Advisor and Cathleen Tripodi as Executive Director.
Christian Newton is named Chief of Staff in the Office of Science.
Charles Smith will lead the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization as Director.
John Sneed takes on directorship at the Loan Programs Office.
Joseph Alexander is appointed Chief of Staff in the Grid Deployment Office with Christina Francone serving as Senior Advisor.
Shawn Affolter becomes Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.
Tala Goudarzi is named Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy and Carbon Management with Kevin Tatulyan taking on Chief of Staff duties.
Louis Hrkman serves as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
Catherine Jereza joins as Senior Advisor for Electricity while Roger Jarrell assumes a similar role in Environmental Management.
William Joyce is appointed Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Affairs with Andrew Rapp acting as Senior Advisor. Eric Mahroum takes on directorship for State And Community Energy Programs.
